BSc(PV) DVM GCertSAUA
MANZCVS(Small Animal Radiology) MRCVS
Man-hei obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Adelaide (Australia). Since graduation she has undertaken a wide variety of positions interstate and overseas including: an internship at Perth Veterinary Specialists (PVS) working alongside an extensive team of qualified specialists; general practice/ER clinician; teaching across several year levels at the University of Adelaide veterinary school; mobile veterinary ultrasonographer across Asia providing abdominal ultrasound and echocardiogram consultations; and helping deliver CPD courses helping veterinary colleagues development their diagnostic imaging skills.
Her passion for diagnostic imaging has taken her to complete further post graduate university studies in imaging, as well as obtaining Australian New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) Membership in Small Animal Radiology.
At the end of 2019, Manhei founded SonoVet, a referral-based mobile veterinary ultrasound and imaging consultancy service. She has provided referral to 5 Australian states (QLD, NT, NSW, VIC, SA), involved in research to aid in the development of human medicine, and veterinary medicine and conservation, and delivered imaging courses to fellow veterinary clinicians and students.
She is currently in Cambridge, UK, completing a diagnostic imaging residency under the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) at one of UK/EU's largest referral hospitals, Dick White Referrals.
Not only does the wide variety of imaging cases excite her, but the interactions with her veterinary clients and the ability that imaging can assist them in managing their patients which she finds most rewarding.
